Description

Buddha Heart

Due to my spiritual path, as well as teaching Qigong and Yoga for many years I have a complete love and devotion of female Buddha’s, mandala’s which I have studied and drawn for many years including Tibetan Mandalas with a Lama, and a love of lotus flowers. Asian calligraphy is used to create positive words emanating from the painting.

Female Buddha’s portray grace, peace, love, and wisdom to me, while the mandalas open us up to the spiritual within. Mandalas are used for focusing and as a spiritual guidance tool. When I paint or draw them, I am pulled deep within to a place of love, peace, and joy. Lotus flowers are associated with inner beauty, spirituality, and enlightenment. The symbolism is that the lotus roots are anchored and grow out of the mud, but the flower rises towards the light blossoming and facing the sun giving enlightenment.

This female Buddha was created by using a flowing, fluid multi-directional mixed media technique with Asian calligraphy for love and peace. This is a unique, original one-off painting that happens with this process of fluid multi-directional technique. No two paintings are ever the same as each Buddha emerges in her own way!
