Who is Intuitive Art for?

Courses and workshops are for all levels. You can be a beginner to an artist looking for a fresh way of bringing creativity up from within.

All the art we do is a process from sound / meditation / centering, and then bringing forth whatever is within. There is nothing to be afraid of as everything is possible and acceptable. Have you never painted before, told you can’t paint? You can. By drawing a line, even if it is squiggly, you can do Intuitive Art. As a trained Art Therapist I help you through all your concerns and worries around producing ‘art’.

What will I get out of this course / workshop?

You will learn varying methods and techniques. This helps you to tap into your creativity within. How to do different styles of backgrounds easily, and then how to resolve that into a painting.

You will also learn to have fun, passion, and excitement around Intuitive Art.

What does Intuitive Art help with?

Art itself is very beneficial helping with stress, worry, anxiety, boosting your mood, and improving your mental / emotional state. You will feel joy, passion, and excitement instead. 

What style of art do you call this?

This style is intuitive, abstract art. The techniques taught will produce a finished painting that you love.

How many people will be in the course?

A maximum of 6-8 people so that you will have access to me helping you through the whole process.

What materials do we need? What paints do we use?

I will provide you with a materials list before the class. These materials are not expensive. We work with acrylic paints.


Who are yoga these classes for?

Yoga classes are for beginners and intermediate levels. Beginners are most welcome to attend. Everyone works to their own body and what their body can and can’t do on any day/evening.

What if I can’t touch my toes?

Most people who come to Yoga are in the same position. With time and dedication to Yoga you will find your body slowly opening. One day you may notice you can touch your toes, or not! Everything is as it is, there is no judgement about what you can or can’t do.

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can bend and stretch in. Most people wear leggings and t-shirt.

What do I need to bring to class?

Due to Covid it is a good idea to have your own Yoga mat. Also a large beach towel to lie on, a small cushion to sit on. A bolster for your legs when lying if you want. Plus a throw rug to put over you when it is cold, and water to drink. We do use Yoga straps and blocks (as our arms are shorter than our legs and these assist). If you have your own bring them along.

What does Yoga or Meditation help with?

Yoga and/or meditation is beneficial for many things. Stress, worry, anxiety, insomnia, inflexibility, boosting your mood, improving mental clarity, helping with arthritis and painful backs.

These are not quick fixes. With dedication to nurturing yourself though Yoga and meditation you can achieve well-being and peace.

What will I get out of a Yoga class?

My aim is to have everyone who come to classes feeling totally relaxed, stress free while doing Yoga. When going away from class you take with you a state of calmness, inner peace, and tranquility.

What happens in a Yoga class?

In the majority of Yoga classes we go through a centering meditation. This allows you to relax and let go of the outside world. Yoga itself starts with some gentle muscle relaxing techniques to activate the body muscles. Then a sequence of Yoga poses follow. At the end of class we do a deep relaxation technique called Yoga Nidra to produce a feeling of relaxation and inner peace. You just follow along to your own ability.
